Research Medical Center Emergency Room: what do users think?
johnny howard: This is a story that I don't like telling, my Aunt had brain surgery a month ago and there was a situation today where she had to go to the emergency room. So I visited her in the emergency room and she was okay when I got there but she started to feel nauseous and weak so she hit the botton for the nurse and they answered but no one came to check on her after three calls no one came in. In the meantime the er doctor came in and asked her how she was doing and asked her if she was okay to leave and she replied that she was still having nausea and bad headaches. I would just like to say that the treatment I saw from the ER staff was not satisfactory to a patient that less than a month ago had brain surgery. She said she was suffering from nausea and a major headache and vomiting. I could look at her and see that she was in a lot of pain and she told me later on that night that they gave her pain meds three hours later, after the doctor came in and talked to her and wrote that she needed pain relief. I was not to happy with the treatment that she received and I could tell that she was very frustrated. She is an x nurse so she knows when shes being mistreated. I know that Research ER can do better. Thanks for listening to my concerns
Leon Alexander: Amazing night crew, Josh and the nurses were great despite my attitude, been in a lot of pain and hard to be nice when you're in that way.But wanted to thank them all again for trying to help.Edit: Even better than I expected, the steroid shot and prednisone messed me up the first day but I recovered swiftly and am doing much better than I was.Thank you guys again for helping when others might not have.
Shannon Keys: It could not have been better my visit was excellent.
Carolyn McCain: My experience with ER on this visit was very pleasing. They were very attentive to my needs (severe pain) I was exhibiting. The staff were very professional and also displayed personal concern. I also received a follow up call to make sure that I do a fellow up with my doctor or a recommend physician.
Marco Tyler: The nurses were really helpful with me understanding the nature of the diagnosis I checked myself in for, as well as the Doctor who assisted me. I embraced my latest visit with gratitude, Big Shout-out to Research Medical Center ER.RespectfullyMarco Tyler
Don Matthews: The staff was professional and caring. They were attentive to my physical and emotional needs. The nurse was very kind and patient as she looked after my needs. The X-Ray technician came soon and performed admirably. The doctor listened to my needs and gave me the necessary medications. I recommend the Emergency room highly.
Lucy Brown: Building seemed run down. I was placed in a room and forgotten. I was in a dungeon type area and it was unsanitary. The bathroom had park utilities and it was not clean.
KJ Simmons: This place should shut down with no questions. The doctor only took 5 mins then send me on the way out after waited nearly one hour in the ER. Unbelievable!
Gay Harley Quinn: I felt as if they didn’t listen to me the medicine didn’t work I have passed out atleast twice I have these weird painful headaches that goes nd comes I’m not sure what’s wrong but they didn’t listen
Cynthia Stallings: It was great and everyone was nice
Barbara: Excellent care
Ty Law: The care was a lot better than most places.that is about all I can say. They took care of me to their best abilities.
Cheryl Silvers: Thanks 👍 it was great
aaron brooks: After being there for 6 hours to detox, they determined to send me to a Swope mental facility. They chartered me a taxi, the taxi driver brought me there, which clearly looked closed, I told him bring me back to the hospital, which he said he couldn't. He said get out and ring the bell at the door, which I proceeded to do, and he just drove off. I had no phone and had no idea where I was, 3 hours later, a nice samaritan finally let me use her phone so I could get a ride. It was frikin terrible.
Kathy Eaton: Took my mom to ER 2 weeks ago with excruciating back pain. After almost 4 hrs of waiting she was finally giver a shot of delautin which didn't help and was sent home. Will not ever be going back to this ER!
Cathy Moses: I had been needing medical help for my blood pressure and the team at research was so quick to help me,I didn't know a blood pressure could go so high but it can.If u need an er please go to research. They we're very professional and took the best care of me.
Neeka Watson: Evertime i go to research hospital for a doctor visit or even a emergency room trip....i always get treated with respect and kindness...from the doctors on down to the employes that serves the food....research is always my first and only favorite Hospital....period...thank you all....yall rock...
Andrew Boyer: Worst ER visit ever and ive been to many hospitals MANY TIMES, worthless👈 bums DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT MY HURTING BODY OR IN MY NOSE TO SEE INFECTION, THESE IDIOTS TOOK 2 X-RAYS AND TOLD ME THERE WASN'T ANYTHING WRONG WITH ME WHEN MY BODY KILLING ME EVERY DAY, WORTHLESS!!!!!!!!
Austin Eiler: The ER nursing staff took great care of my wife. We had to go in unexpectedly at midnight and my phone was nearly dead after the long day. The nursing staff gave me one of their personal phone chargers and reassured us every step of the way.
Vinessa Thomas: I went in for muscle spasms and the NP acted like she didn't believe me because it didn't sound like it was about my muscles, but my veins. Took her phony diagnosis to my primary care physician and she was not happy. May not go back there again.
Earl Nelson: Quick intake, immediate care giving, and very professional and cordial staff

Truman Medical Center Hospital Hill Emergency Room: what do users think?
javonne tobay: Do not bring your love ones here my mom is here for surgery yesterday and one of the nurses said that they would call us once she got out of surgery and they never did and today I was trying to visit her on the 5th floor and they told me to move her to icu the 2nd floor so I went down to the 2nd floor and the 2nd floor said she wasn’t thereon the 2nd floor so I went back up to the 5th floor letting them know that they said she was not there and they went to go check again and they said she was on the 2nd floor so I went back down to the 2nd floor again and when I ring the doorbell no one wanted to answer the doorbell and they sent me outside the hall standing there so one of the registration employees was coming down the hall and she was going in on the 2nd floor and as soon as I walked in the door a nurse met me at the door saying I couldn’t not see my mom yet because they just brought her down to the floor and it would be a minute and now I have been waiting for 15min and no one hasn’t told me nothing yet this is the worst service ever and for them not to know where my mom was at for about 15 min is crazy to me.
Ira Nasef: They almost killed my mom! They gave her wrong medication in her spine, she supposed to have knee replacement surgery, sneaky anesthesia nurse even did not have guts to come to apologize.the worst experience ever! Truman will pay for it! I promise!
Elvin Robinson: Cold stinky hospital with goofy disrespectful staff who have bad attitudes
cantyouread: Slowest hospital I've ever been too. If you are in serious pain and need to be seen URGENTLY pick somewhere else to go.
Carla Dodson: I went to truman lakewood emergency and i have history of kidneystone. The doctor that a nurse practitioner dismissed my pain as having back issues and said I possibly could not be passing a stone and they don't care if you crawl in from stone they will not perscribe anything for pain they tell you to take tylenol and aleve together it do the job. NOT!
Amber Rhinehart: Zero stars should be an option. They should not be a hospital. If you have been seen here I would recommend getting a lawyer. Trust me you will need it. Also if it’s life and death pick somewhere else they will kill you.
Araceli Gutierrez: Worst service ever experience in an emergency room. I would rate this zero stars if I could.
Jonathan Williams: The physicians and staff of Truman Medical Center's Progressive Care Unit on the second floor cared for our son until his passing from terminal illness. For more than 10 days the team provided kind and compassionate care in the most professional and loving manner. The level of care and concern was exceptional in every aspect. It was particularly helpful that they used a comprehensive team approach that treated our son holistically and fully. From the hospital greeters to the security team in the Emergency Department to the nurses and doctors involved in or son's care, every member of the entire hospital as well as his care team was extremely considerate and thoughtful in our time of difficulty. We could not have had a more capable and caring group of medical practitioners than the people at the Truman Medical Center. They were absolutely at their best when we needed them the most.
Gwoof: 😘🍿
Bruce Kuzma: University Health-Truman Medical Center-Hospital Hill, Kansas City with University Missouri Kansas City. A staffing of competent people that has taken care of my medical needs since 10/31/1998 when I was brought here in a coma from a blunt force trauma to the Base of a skull until on or about 11/21/1998. They are keeping me Living day-to-day.
phil humphrey: Took my daughter down for an appointment. Parking garage was free. We were assisted in navigating the hallways to her clinic. Got there early and they took her right in. She liked how her P.A. listened and asked questions. A friendly nurse even asked if she could pray with her. We finished and again got help exiting. No complaints. We have to do a follow-up and we're not freaking out.
Jonathan Daly: Very nice hospital complex. Met a very friendly and helpful staff member who guided my "first time here" party to where we needed to go.
DREAM VERSACE: Mane no....ain't no way from the reviews .... folks over here wanting me to go here naw 😒 😑 respectfully Issa no fa me.....sincerely
Knightly Luna: The next time I have to be there, if a doctor has the audacity to roll their eyes at me because of some arrogant sense of superiority, I'm breaking their neck. I'm not about to come into this place with the vast knowledge I have and be treated like I know nothing. Humble yourselves, pissants.
Brianna Walker: Death trap and dirty! Not sanitary at all! I went in for my appendix and walked out due to the lady in labs in the emergency department laying the needle on the table and the bandages thinking she was about to stick me in my arm. She did not wash her hands or glove up nor clean the area she has you sit in for labs…. They need to burn that hospital to the ground and or get new staff. The emergency department nurses are disrespectful and dirty and talked to the elderly ppl there like they were burdens. Trashhhhhhhhhhhhh Truman has went down hill bad!!!
Jennifer Johnston: Dr. Balk is amazing. I've been on both sides of the medical spectrum. Great insurance with great providers I've also seen firsthand how awful some hospitals will treat you without medical ins. I've been battling this disease for 2 years with no answers. For the first time I feel like we have made some progress not only did this man go out of his way to contact the social worker and find a primary doctor and a specialist but they also called me to set up appointments before I even was discharged from the emergency room. This hospital has saved my life today and pointed me in the right direction of getting Medicaid, getting an answer to a diagnosis and now we have potential as to what an underlying condition may be. Now it's up to the specialist. I cannot imagine what his days are like. Working the front line and so knowledgeable. I never saw him sit down. How he can manage that much chaos and still remember your first name is beyond me. For once in my life I felt like a patient who was heard.
Audrey L Weilert: I bring my Daughter here for her Remicade monthly. The GI clinic and the other hospital stuff are Always Friendly!
Marty Lambertson: No one will return your call. I'm needing to find out some information, but all I get is a freaking recording saying call a certain number and it all winds back up at the same place. I'm NOT IMPRESSED with Truman Medical Center.
Stacy Fremin: Hindsight is always 20/20. Best treatment with only a few exceptions.
Stacy Hughes Fremin: Admitted into hospital overnight. Not given breakfast, skipped meal until I begged for something humane to eat. Ate 1 cold turkey sandwich after being provided a cold turkey sandwich around 3pm. Anticipated dinner at 6:30, only to be given a vegan burger. Asked for any packets of sweetener about 10 packets, but not any of the staff can find our anything?? I would love to have 12pk of diet pepsie or Coke. Add chicken parm and turkey sandwiches. 2 chocolate milk and 2 peptides.May I go the get things are n ow?
Clayton Patrick: Been sick since dec 14, tried to come in today was asked to leave the er, no room

Providence Medical Center Emergency Medicine: what do users think?
MegWaeg: DON'T GO HERE!This place must be totally overhauled including cleanliness training, staff support and training on all levels before even attempting to save lives.Where is Human Resources, where are scheduled inspections? BEWARE of empty waiting rooms when other reputable ER facilities are full. Must be worth the wait, extra distance and exceptional service. Hmm?Had to go twice within a week with 2 different diagnosis. Long wait in waiting room that was nearly empty. Patient rooms were dirty and discusting. Kudos to the young RN that helped me last go round. On my exit checkout, even though they cannot diagnose CANCER,( I"ve not been seen by a private specialist yet) Nor did they have a clue if there was concern, they were fine with throwing that at me before shoving me out the door. I was still very ill both times upon release. I Called his superior to follow up with his devastating remark not to cause anyone trouble, but to share that a statement that includes a CANCER concern with no clue or confirmation test of which they have no test for, was outrageously devastating, gutrenching and immediately caused me distress, anxiety and endless tears. I just called in to ask politely that this fearmongering language to future patients not be used as it can be taken as a CANCER SENTENCE. TAMMY, Floor Mgr. I guess, was unsupportive, rude, cruel and a pathetic leader. She found nothing to be concerned about and dismissed my concerns even though my tears were flowing and anxiety made my illness worse. I just wanted to help future patients from this unnecessary checkout verbage. I will be sharing this report with BBB, The Hospital Hierarchy, Inspector's and other top resources including News channels to alert the general population of my experience's at this pathetic place of so called healthcare business.SHUT THEM DOWN until ALL issues are corrected.MORE HARMFUL THAN HELPFUL HERE. So sad.
Ronald Garffie: Pros: Clean, brightly lit with lots of windows.Cons: Considering how long one stays an ER and how they may wish to keep in contact with family during an emergency, very few A/C outlets to charge your phone. Coffee machine non functional, but pop and snack vending working.Lots of signs stating that violence is not tolerated, but no statement on what a patient should expectations should be.
Saturn's Dream: The hospital was so empty that I had to help an elderly lady get to the 5th floor. she couldn't find anyone niether could I. as my grandfather was going through surgery that turned out to be unsuccessful and later ended in a passing. I was furious at their treatment of patients no one to be found this hospital. it needs to be should shut down immediately. The nurse told me that my 80 year old grandfather needed surgery because he has dead bowels and that he was " going to die with or without the surgery" turned out it wasn't dead bowels. then tried to blame his dying on a heart and blood condition. There's so much more to the story it's ridiculous they have to shut down.
Eric Middle: They left my mother to pee herself rather than answer the call button after 25 minutes. Four different times I had to correct the med list. They left alarm going off. Healthcare in Kansas City sucks
Olivia Quijas: My 3 year old had an accident playing and got a big gash on the top of his head. Almost immediately after checking in we were greeted by the nicest nurse. Upon entering the room to check his weight we were greeted by an amazing doctor (Dr. Warren maybe? I can’t remember his name). Both the nurse and doctor were SO nice and friendly to both me and my son and took such good care of us. The best ER experience I have had.
The gauntlet: Not a very good experience at all. In total we spent over 8 hrs here. Took over 1 hr to check in even though the waiting room was dead. Once we got in we spent another hr waiting for the doctor to come in. Basically my gf was having a severe allergic reaction to an allergy shot she got. The doctor tried saying it could her gaul bladder or any other form of infection even though her symptoms started immediately after the shots.Which I guess that's fine id rather be safe than sorry. But the we waited over 3 hrs for the test results. When they came back negative for anything serious we were glad. But the severe lack of communication was ridiculous. Once the test were done we figured we would get a prescription for her remaining symptoms and get to go home. But o no the doctor came in and advised we needed to stay another 3 hrs because she had an epi shot and they are required to keep us for 6 hrs after. Why why why wasn't that advised in the 3 hrs we were already waiting. So obviously we had to stay and wait for her safety. In the mean time we were constantly promised medicine for my gfs nausea and pain and the nurse would disappear for hrs after saying they would be right back. And wouldn't you know it when it came time to check out our nurse said she just had to remove the iv and we would be on our way. But of course they disappeared for another hr!! Seriously?I get things have to be done a certain way and certain protocols have to be met but just communicate it and don't just leave your patients in the dark the whole time.If you lucky enough to have the option please go somewhere else. I know if I do in the future I will gladly drive further for another ER.
Susanne: Worst care I've ever gotten in my life, and that's putting in nicely
Krishna Dhakal: Pathetic. Takes 2 hours just to get one patient in. Been waiting for 4 hours and still waiting. Not even half of the people that were there been treated since I got there. Pathetic
J C: Waited for almost two hours for an allergic reaction with swelling in the face and throat. I left because it took so long the condition started subsiding on its own. Unsatisfactory at best, dangerous at worst.
Adam Brooks (Liem Drake): Had to take my dad to the ER to treat a deep cut had to wait over in hour in the waiting room to get treated.
Enedina Fuentes (Nina): Hi everyone I will not recommend this hospital whatsoever. I came in the ER with my husband and my 1 year old for a head injury my son and I was heading down stairs to the basement and my son missed a step and I couldn’t catch him in time so he went downhill, and hit his head and threw up so I had to rush to the closet Emergency room. We checked in and they attended to us and said that they were going to discharge us because he seemed to be fine and then the doctor turned around and wanted a X-ray on him. They couldn’t get him to calmed down and their nurse was unprofessional he neglected my son not once but multiple times until my husband said something and they supposedly wrote him up because of it and the rest of the nurses saw it happened. And it turns out my son wasn’t the only one being mistreated by this man and then after that the doctor that was attending to us decide to call Family Service on us he said to me “multiple head injuries “ when he had a bump in the back of his head from the stairs. Caseworker came today and she said to me why they turned me in was because lack of parenting which the caseworker looked at my son and said this was unnecessary, and the case will be closed. because we do not neglected our son or whatsoever never in hell he never leaves my side. They had lack of evidence for one and lack of nurses and the man that mistreated my son was still there working! I am a shame of this place. And I have way more to say about pass history with them but man they had me messed up yesterday. May 23 2022 I will not forgive the Dr that did that or that man that mistreated my son he’s a baby and doesn’t understand what’s happening. But not all nurses are jerks heads up to the lady nurse she was awesome! and one other she was helpful helping me with the situation.
Mamasaun Bear: Slow and irritated er staff...fire drill in er panicked people who already felt sick.lobby needed despiratly cleaned dried bodly fluid on floor unknown dry fluid on chairs smears and handprints on walls bathrooms dirty
Kinley Franks: Absolutely worst hospital ever! The night ER charge nurse is horrible… PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR LIFE!!
A: Was told to go to the ER by my doctor if my fever didn't break as it could be an underlying complications from an infection I was being treated for. Well fever hadn't broken in days and was feeling worse by the minute so went to Providence. While being checked in they wouldn't let me explain why I was there, being condescending about just being there for a fever. Scratching out part of what she'd originally wrote in the card, leaving only fever. At the time I was also wearing a sweater because I was having chills and was freezing. She pointed out me having a sweater, spoke to me like I was dumb for having it on when I supposedly had a fever. I went there because I had to drive myself and was feeling dizzy. After that I decided to leave to be seen at a different ER. I thought coworkers were joking about being taken anywhere other that Providence even if they were having a medical emergency in their parking lot, now I agree.
Jacklyn Mortell: The nurse practitioners are absolutely horrible mine went from super nice to a devil . She never did an exam on me at all . She later told me even though I have a medical diagnosis from my dr that problem actually didn’t exist that the problem she found was bad however not bad enough for me to complain about and the other problem that, I had a diagnosis from my dr was in my head.
Patricia Webber: i am changing my rating to what happen just a week ago Providence Hospital try to kill my mom and im beyond mad
Karena McFarlin: My son is still sitting in the ER.... Its been almost 5 hours.....what the hell is wrong with this place?!!!
Rita Ale: I was at emergency because I was on pain and coughing. One of the nurse practitioner Denny said she can't treat because it's non emergency. It is a shame to be nurse practitioner to tell a patient. She doesn't have any morals and values.

North Kansas City Hospital Emergency Room: what do users think?
Carol Begins: The staff was very nice and quick to get my husband the medical attention he needed! Thank you! 😊
Cierra Edgar: Samantha was the nurse that cared for my mom in the emergency room. She was compassionate and caring. It's obvious why she is in this profession. She actually listened to what our concerns were and made sure the floor nurses knew to give special instructions for her care as well. Danielle was also on top of it upon arrival she came in to do her part and my mom needs the warm blankets. Danielle was the first one on it and was quick, she also brought two of them not just the normal one. Thank you ladies for taking such good care of my mom. It truly makes a difference.
David Grado: I have had to visit this ER twice in the last 2 weeks for the same issue. The first time I went the doctor told me I have pneumonia and prescribed me medications. He said if I still didn’t feel any better once I have completed the meds to come back. I went back last night and a different doctor told me I now have bronchitis. I advised I have had these symptoms for almost 2 months and I’m not getting any better. He advised to try some over the counter meds for congestion and my shortness of breath and I advised I have been for several weeks and nothing is working. He told me to just try a different one. He told me I need try something to help me cough up the congestion but then prescribed a cough suppressant. Not sure what else to do. I’m symptoms have got worse and they did nothing for me
cherryX zz: First time in the hospital ! I came with a sore throat and breathing problem . The doctor don’t even know what she was doing because she said you don’t need a a X-ray but they did one before seen her !!! Took blood and waited and waited and nothing ! I was there for 6 hours and it was horrible experience so i left . They don’t have any organization! The nurses are just confuse
Stephanie Moody: This was by far one the the better experiences that I have had in an emergency room. Was the wait long? A little. Were there a ton of people there? Yes. Was the wait to be expected? Absolutely! There were times I was waiting on labs that seemed to take forever. But i understand there are other rooms that need trended to. They came to check my vitals a few times and make sure I was warm enough as the AC was blasting. It’s more than I have received from other ER hospitals in the metro. Hopefully I don’t need to go back, but if I need and ER, this is the one.
Jessica Douglas-Trombino: I had to take my son there in January as that's suggested through our insurance. My son is type 1 diabetic. They said if he needed to be admitted that he would have to go to CMH because they didnt have pediatric endocrine. They decided he needed to be admitted. I asked if I could just take him instead of CMH coming to pick him up but they said it would be easier if they came to get them. They said they would get him started on fluids and insulin drip. Two people were there to check the numbers. After CMH came to pick him up, later that night I had overheard one of the nurses saying that NKC hospital had the insulin wrong. I had inquired and they told me it was caught during the switch of care from NKC to CMH when CMH saw the insulin and regular fluids were swapped. NOBODY from NKC told me. I had waited for a call, nothing. I had to call and ask for medical records. Extremely disappointed over the negligence.
Paul E Moore: Chest pains, told to go directly to ER by my Dr. After triage sat over 4 hours. Walked out, went to another hospital in Liberty, Mo. Was in a room with 4 techs all in 10 minutes. Sure not always that fast but renewed by faith in them after a bad ordeal 40 years ago.
Ray Vunovich: If your sick and need help, this is my hospital of choice. They have always taken excellent care of me. And everyone is helpful and friendly.I am thankful for all their hard work and efforts to help me get better.
ภาคิน ศักดิ์สวัสดิ์: like
Akirah Miyamura: It's better than children's mercy, but it's not great. Went in for shoulder dislocation issues and extreme pain and got nothing for it. They took 3 X-rays to determine that it was most likely a torn rotator cuff, and "sent" in a referral. REFUSED to give me my medical records because I have to go through their medical records for it which require an ID that they know I do not have because I'm a minor and can't get my.kegal documents. One staff member told me that she's working with a broken leg and taking Tylenol so I will be fine. Despite them FEELING MY JOINT POP OUT I was refused any pain medication. The referral was never sent. And the place they referred it to require an ID. They lied to me and said that they would make an exception for it, but the orthopedic I was referred till NOT treat me without and ID that I am physically unable to get. So beyond frustrated that i spent 6 hours to get nowhere, not even pain killers, and to be told my pain is "fine and Tylenol will help."
Kathrine Ezeribe: I used to have high regards for NKC Hospital. Now they triage you & stick you back in the waiting room. Coming out to pull you in for test & back out ya go like cattle. Wait times was 6 hours yesterday & heading the same today. The woman greeting people coming in was a smart-arse to everyone & yelling as if she hated her job. She has no business in the people industry. Seriously injured people out in the waiting rm with others non emg. It was over worked for the young RN nurses doing all the work while the older ones taking their time. I felt sorry for them & the poor people. Who ever is running this place needs to be sacked. Only one guy at the greet desk was nice and sympathetic. The lady there was arguing with him being rude to him too. You're disorganized. My loved one come in by ambulance. I'm ashamed for the hospital.
Lindsay Browne: Avoid if possible. Expensive, inattentive, hard to work with on billing but pretty quick to be seen. Stitches for a small cut and tetanus shot after hours cost $1,580 if you have insurance to negotiate for you.Otherwise add another $1,400 on top of that if your insurance hasn't negotiated a cheaper rate. So about $3,000 across hospital and ER for simple procedure when nowhere else was open.Husband went in for stitches. Gave him several painful pain shots and instantly proceeded to clean wound and do stitches without giving pain shots any time to work. Husband was visibly in pain and obviously feeling every stitch. Staff did not notice/care or give time for pain shots to work or check in with him.So instead of just painful stiches he got painful stitches and painful extremely expensive shots that didn't work. You will be billed by both the hospital and the emergency room who do not communicate. They will not explain what the charges are for on the bill other than with codes even when you send a written request they will send a print out that still does not actually say what the codes mean. When you call (much shorter wait time with hospital at least on hold than the other emergency room billing you'll have to call separately) hospital will pass you around and give you the wrong number to call back to reach the right person. Staff that night left out notes on the chart like staying there would be no cost to get stitches removed but not noting that in the chart for the Midwest emergency service people who will bill us for it and have to wait on phone for 30min. After talking to several people who said hospital didn't note it on the chart. NKC can't tell you what part of your cost was stitches or what part was pain shots or why the bill explanation from them on every item says charge exceeds allowable fee arrangement. To be fair if you are in a rush: Very short wait for late night ER during a storm and relatively quick overall despite seeing about 7 people who pop in and out of your room with no idea who they are or what's really happening or who will bill for what. At least they come to you. Staff casually joking about the fact that sometimes the pain shots don't work but not actually checking to see if they are working in the moment. Then after 2 months trying to get someone to talk to which can only be done during work hours to try and not pay for the pain shots that didn't work and made things worse they still make you pay since they still administered the shots. Long story short only get hurt during business hours so you can avoid the ER.
Ashley Kohrs: I'm currently in the waiting room, asked for an EKG because of my chest pain and flushing. Meanwhile, the nurses are all laughing and joking together in a triage room. There's literally three nurses in there, and they are in no rush to help anyone it seems like. There is a gentleman nurse who is the only one who seems to care about my condition and unfortunately I think he is leaving for his shift. I love this hospital, I delivered my son here, but this is unacceptable and unprofessional behaviorAlso let me add two weeks ago my mom waited for 5 hours in the waiting room vomiting with a burst appendix.
C G: Kind, fast and definitely over worked.
Kay Hedrick: UPDATE: Thank you for your reply, NKCH ER. However, in reading the other reviews here on Google, I'd say you are not interested in improving your service because the comments are all pretty much the same - as is your response pointing us to talk to someone else.Original post: The word "emergency" has no meaning here. While triage happened immediately, I then sat in the freezing cold waiting area for more than an hour. When I arrived there was only 3 people waiting.. In an hour they only called one person back to be treated, leaving two people ahead of me. I waited another half hour before leaving. I'm bleeding, in pain, and need treatment. Hopefully I can get my cut treated and a tetanus shot at a minute clinic because treatment apparently isn't something timely available at NKCH.
rose barham: The worst wait for 4 hours and the worst treatment of the secretarial and bad management. Please reconsider the administration.
Caije Kauer: Waiting over 4 hours in triage with my wife at a level 10 abdominal pain. Other people were called back before us that got here after us. Joke of an ER
Cody Sutton: Waiting in triage for 3 hrs. Watched other patients that showed up 45 minutes after us get brought in to be seen. Not to take vitals, but to be seen by doctors. My wife is at a 10 pain level and about to puke. The people seen before her were joking and seemingly in less pain than my wife. Absolutely absurd. Jentry was our nurse and she was amazing.
Krystal Flanagan: This is the worst hospital I have ever been to. Doctor came in once asked two questions and walked out. Never saw a nurse, never was asked how my pain was, it is a freaking joke. I feel sorry for the people that go to this hospital. I hope they were treated better then I was.
Rj Keitchen: My girlfriend (a public school teacher) was feeling very ill at work. School nurse checked her blood pressure and said it was extremely high and that she needs to get to the emergency room asap. I pick her up and take her to the NKC emergency room. We arrive at 12:10pm and check in.At 4:45pm they still hadn't seen her yet but saw many others that came in after her. Now I know that those people probably had more severe issues, and I know that the hospital may be short staffed. We get all that. But four hours and thirtyfive minutes to wait with no updates and no info. That seems a bit much.So she decided to go to an urgent care and if they say she needs a hospital then we will take her to Liberty. But as she was trying to sign out of NKC, they gave her a really hard time and argued with her about her paperwork. She ended up leaving with nothing in her hands to show where she had been all afternoon as they refused to give her anything.NKC is a joke. I've personally never had a good experiance there and thus I personally have been going out of my way to go to Liberty hospital if needed. Sadly my girlfriend is just now learning this.
Lenee Williams: Waited 8hours for them to tell me nothing is wrong with me. Lol I guess coughing up blood is normal. I am scared for my life. A few hours after leaving I start coughing it up again. The staff is refreshingly sweet as hello. They made my wait as comfortable as possible. Once I reached 6+ hours. My rating went down quickly

ER of Brookside: what do users think?
Erin Sullivan: Nurse Jake, nurse Kayla, and Dr. Brown were very kind and attentive and I have never had such quick medical service in my life. I highly recommend this hospital if you are in an emergency situation.
Brandice Pless: This is my go to emergency room. They are always fast and efficient. Fairly clean to be a urgent care. You normally Don't have to wait when you sit down you may have to wait the most 15 minutes if they're packed. They are very precise if you tell them what's going on. Again it's a urgent care so they try to get you in-and-out as fast as they can the most efficient results. You do have to wear mask of course it's hospital. The parking lot is very small but it's not a big hospital. I will definitely recommend coming here if you hate long waits
Alex Anderson: I had severe facial swelling on my left side from an abscessed tooth. Went to two different ERs and they told me to go see a dentist, on the weekend. Came here today and I was back in a room within 5 minutes. The doctors and nurses took me seriously, gave me antibiotics as well as something for pain, AND gave me an antibiotic shot. They were so much nicer and friendlier than ANY other ER that I’ve ever been to. They actually listened to my concerns and took that into consideration when treating me. If I ever have to go to an ER again, this is the one I’m going to.
Mila J: Dr Panesh Ditel is the worse..most recent visit on July 9...told him all of my symptoms and he underminded all of what i told him. Diagosned me with a stress-tension headache, despite having many more symptoms besides a headache which I informed him of. He kept turning on the room lights, despite telling him the lights were hurting my eyes and head. The nursing staff were just as bad, didn't offer a blanket while I was laying on the bed shivering. I was in and out in under 30 mins. Decided to go to a different hospital to get a 2nd opinion because i just didnt feel right and did not accept his diagonise and low and behold it was covid. I ended up putting my entire family at risk because after the discharge, I did go home to rest before going to get a 2nd opinion. This is actually my 2nd encounter with this dr and he is always rude and underminding.
Lexi Diamyn: Such quick check in, I probably sat in the waiting room for about 30 seconds then the nurse called me back Nate was very polite and quick at his job. Very professional staff and I will always refer back to this location!
Lisa Coleman: I Love This ER The Medical Are Very Friendly And Courteous, The Doctors There Are Very Concerned And Compassionate And Get Straight To The Cause Of Your Medical Issue They Really Care About Whatever Issue You Have And They Dont Keep You Sitting In A Room For Hours Waiting And Waiting Treatment Is Fast And Accurate. I Referr People To Go There. You Never Sit In The Waiting Room For Hours In Pain Waiting To Get Checked In. It's A Very Quiet Clean Neat Place. Keep Up The Great Work Guys The Community Needs More ER Like This.
Ashlee Siard: New to the city and my little one was having excruciating abdominal pain. We went to the Er where we met Dr. Brown. I felt like an over reacting mom but he assured me that right sided abdominal pain can be serious. Hers was right to middle. Long story short it was her appendix. It was his quick thinking and his through communication that made all the difference.I just want to say thank you. I don’t think I have ever met someone with such a kind bed side manor and ability to calm a child and mother simultaneously. He even checked on us later. ❤️
Bridie Does Beauty: I’ve never had to wait, everyone is always kind and accommodating. Dr Knox is hands down the coolest, kindest doctor I have ever met. He showed compassion, empathy, and emotion. Sure not all doctors have to do those things but it made me feel cared for. He is an angel.
Charles Dent: $2,500+ bill for four stitches. In and out in under an hour. Saw a nurse for billing info and a PA did the sutures. The stitches eventually stopped the bleeding and it only took me a few hours the next morning to carefully untangle/pick the dried bloody gauze out of the stitches. The poor rating is because the billing/finance department is opaque and merciless in my experience. If I could do it again, I would ignore the insurance nurse and try an urgent care facility before ER, since I was not in immediate danger. 10 days later I walked into an urgent care, a doctor checked me for infection, and a PA removed the stitches for under $200.
Bethany Roberts: I got in and out of here which isn't very common with emergency rooms. Everyone was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable. By far the best emergency room experience I've had. Thank you all for all of your help.
Phyllis Johnson: The staff at Brookside ER are a Godsend …..Dr Brown listened to my complaints patiently and after tests and personal care from nurses I left feeling relieved and grateful. Your the best!
Melody Kearney: Dr. Brown is completely inept as a doctor. I went to Brookside ER with severe pain and I was discharged with the same amount of pain. Not to mention the nurses were much more concerned about my billing information than the RAGING PAIN in my abdomen. If he would have even touched me he might have realized my gallbladder was inflamed. I went to KU med AFTER visiting this ER for a cholecystectomy. You have to listen to your patients and actually do a very basic physical examination before just giving them milk of magnesia and sending them on their way home to die. smh
Melissa Smith: Received care promptly.Everyone was professional and caring.Thank you to all the staff 🤗
Lonnie Buerge: Received great and instant care. It was amazing. Thank you so much
Earline Johnson: Nurse Allison assaulted me while I was a patient at these hospital. I complained about not being treated properly because I was black. She told me that I was free to go somewhere else. When I grab my purse to do so. She then attack me and tried to act like I attack her. I reported it to the main hospital and Research won't do anything about it. She can still hurt someone else.
Matt Camden: My experience at the hospital while I was there was great - short waits, prompt and friendly doctors, great treatment. On that front, they are great. The reason I leave such a low star rating is because of the nightmare I faced with billing. First, the ER sent me a $5,000-ish bill, as they forgot to apply my insurance. No biggie, so I get them my insurance information. They then send me a bill for $600 as a "discount for my uninsured status." Again, I send my insurance information.Three months go by, and I discover by checking my credit score that the hospital has sent my bill (now $1,050) to collections, without ever sending me a copy. This cost me 45 points on my credit score. A week later I get a bill for about $1,000. After spending about 4 hours on the phone, the billing department tells me that the bill at collections is from the physician, and that I need to pay both $1,000 to the hospital and $1,050 to collections/physician bill. The physicians office that sent a bill to collections refused to help. They said "sorry, it's in collection now, there's nothing we can do for you. Talk to the collection agency."Another week and another 4 hour time investment later, I get an itemized bill from the hospital, which details all of services I received. Admittedly, the hospital's bill of $1,000 seems legitimate. However, I had to spend hours on the phone with a collection agency to get an itemized Physician's office bill on the amount in collections; finally, the physicians' office admits that they double-billed me and removes the collection.8 months and many hours of my time later, my credit score has finally been repaired and I finally have a proper bill that I can pay.The care I received was great but due to the absolute nightmare I was put through by the billing department, I will no longer be using this hospital or any HCA facility, including changing my primary doctor.
Sondra Atherly: Been there several times with family members. The staff is awesome, from the docs to nurses to the security guards.
Gabriel Anderson: Horrible nurses, they move slow and don't take any patient serious
Travis Hill: Was seen at the ER Saturday, the staff was fantastic, and attentive. Good job at explaining every step of the process, and was able to go home that night.
Beverly Goodhue: I love the services I receive. They always refer me to next step also call next day if I need help with referral from ER Dr. They get me in and out at a reasonable time. I know if I need help this place is awesome.
Chanel Rayfield: "Only required to wash hands at the start of shift" If kansas city's health is in brookside ER's dirty hands, Kansas City is in trouble Have to literally beg staff to wash hands, they get an attitude if ask. My daughter was given a rectal exam and I asked doctor to wash his hands first before putting his finger in her butt, and he proceeded to tell me that he was going to use two pair of gloves and didn't need to, when I insisted, he used hand sanitizer and I said no, soap and water please and his nurse proceeded to tell me that hand sanitizer is actually better than soap and water at killing germs (like if you really believe that start bathing with it then) and spent more time trying to tell me about what studies have proven than they did actually washing hands and I'm still like, so what, wash your hands before you touch my daughter. When he finally did wash hands, he didn't even use good hand washing technique he was finished in like 5 seconds and didn't do much scrubbing.Came in to ER about a month later different staff, same problem. I asked them to wash hands before touching her and checking her throat, and nurse told me that the director infectious disease( think that's the title) told staff they are only required to wash hands at the start of shift and when they get blood or something on their hands. Think about this... In a 12 or 8 hour shift, staff thinks that's it's ok if they wash their hands once after seeing dozens of patients. Well same thing happened, they tried to use hand sanitizer when I asked them to wash hands, had to say soap and water please, mediocre hand washing followed.Same issue with handwashing after going back a couple of more times, so not an isolated incident. Even though it's remodeled its dirty, check out the floors they are dirty, and dust is everywhere. If kansas city's health is in brookside ER's dirty hands Kansas City is in trouble. After other issues with uncaring staff, that don't give undivided attention and possible HIPPA violations, I refuse to go back. This was my go to ER for about 10 years because of the fast, great service I used to get. They no longer have my business.

The University of Kansas Hospital Emergency Department: what do users think?
Amanda Keylon: Heidi and Tanya from the emergency department ROCK!!!!! The care was spot on they have amazing besides manners they work hard and they deserve a raise! these ladies are seriously an amazing addition to your team. The care they provide is 10 stars! ★★★★★★★★★★ Keep on rocking Ku team and Thank you ladies!!!!
Corliss Dean: What is wrong with the ER dept. You continue to build and add on and the ER is the slowest ever. Been here with my Mother each time because her Doctor said too and every time she has to wait over 5 hours. This last time we went in for a planned procedure and ended up in the ER for chest pain. I don't know who runs the ER dept but for God sake take a look at it. I feel like until someone dies waiting nothing will be done it saddens me to think that my elderly Mother puts all her trust in KU the suppose to be great hospital but she suffers for hour each time she goes to the ER.
Christian Hotchkiss: The staff is cool but their communication is lacking MASSIVELY
Manju Gurung: This place is more like lining up to die without getting treatment. 6+ hours and still waiting as I’m typing this. They won’t even let you have headache medicine because it has to be prescribed by the doctor. In this place you’re likely to die from pain before seeing a doctor. Not to mention most nurses working around/at the lobby are rude and I unprofessional
melissa moore: This is an absolute joke you go in for severe, migraines and pain in your head. They give you some Benadryl since you’re on your way tell you to see their neurologist, but then the neurologist has no referral. You call because the paperwork you got says that they wrote you a prescription but then they don’t return your phone calls, so who knows if my child is in need of a prescription or not. Obviously your health is not their priority.
Malik Bargooth: The waiting time is insaneI came with my mom she had to wait for hours
Ayham Barghooth: It’s called emergency… I came here to be treated ASAP not to be waiting for hours and suffer from pain
lateriae bell: This was my first time here at ku and I will never come to this emergency room again ! Very unorganized. And i was there for over 5 hours in lobby til i got in a room still took a hour to see a nurse or a doctor, not to mention being 17 weeks pregnant, the staff is rude and parking is terrible, i left out the room. if i can give no stars i would!
Dean Michael: I brought my friend in over 5 hours ago with an attack of acute pancreatitis (previously diagnosed). He has been vomiting in the waiting room for 5 straight hours and he has STILL not seen anyone. This is the worst emergency room I have ever EVER experienced !!I wonder how many patients actually DIE in the emergency waiting room just waiting for a nurse, doctor, or ANYONE to triage them?
Victoria K: We were efficiently escorted through the Emergency room. Every doctor, nurse, and very other staff made us feel attended to, listened to, and action was taken. Outstanding!
Angela Cook: I waited 5.5 hours in excruciating pain to be seen and wasn’t.
Just Me: Today was the first time I had been to this emergency department. I would give this emergency room zero Stars if it were an option. This is the worst emergency room I have ever been to in my life! I was here for more than 4 hours. I left because I still hadn't been seen . Some of the nurses here are rude. I left and went to the to Advent Shawnee mission emergency room. I should have just went there in the first place. I was seen right away and done in 10 minutes . I only went to this emergency room because I was at the urologist here in KU and they couldn't help me with my catheter. I will write a review about that too. I will never waste my time coming to this emergency again! I need to find a new urologist too cuz that place is a three-ring service also !
Jonathan Strader: There service is good but you have to wait a eternity to get in to be seen
Elora paslay: If you like waiting 6 hours and not getting seen then this is the place to go.
Joe Lugo: I suffer from chronic illness and have been to the ER 3 times this year, I won't go here again from this last visit. Waited 4 hours to be taken back, then waited another 3 hours to be seen by a doctor because there wasn't a doctor to see me. Idk what's going on here but this hospital use to not be like this.
Hannah Wastlund: I know that nobody wants to go to an emergency room, but KU really took such amazing care of me. There was a long wait time but that’s to be expected. Everyone was so kind and compassionate. I was really scared and they eased my fears and took such wonderful care of me. I’m a hard stick and I was dehydrated and they got the IV in immediately. So thankful for this hospital! The people here are incredible!
Alexis Mcgarrah (lexi): If you wish to pass away while they look at you and tell you nothings wrong come here was here the other day for 12 hours with my partner and after all of it was told nothings wrong incompetence at the best
Chelsea Fletcher: I came in with upper abdomen severe body pain. When I entered the ER I lost temporary mobility of my upper body strength and fell to the ground. When the nurse was checking my vitals another nurse loudly said I threw myself on the floor which was incorrect. When I got in the room the chalked me up for muscle and skeleton problems and didn't even give me anything to deal with the pain or give me a second look.I went to Shawnee mission 6 hours later and now I'm getting ready to get my gallbladder removed. Worst experience ever, what if it exploded.
Stephy Ebert: The er staff are rude and horrible the room my mama was in was disgusting she had no pillow and there er room gave us covid!!!! I'm looking into suing them I also took photos of how nasty it is in there!
alternative facts: Have been waiting for 6hr still waiting

Overland Park Regional Medical Center: what do users think?
Marilyn Lynch: I have used this facility for years for my mammograms.
Steve Paddock: I was in an auto accident, and brought by ambulance to OP Med Center because I was told they had a Trauma Center if needed. When I arrived, I was assigned to a space along the wall in the hallway adjacent to the emergency room. Except for when I went to the CT Scan room next door, I spent my entire 24-hour + visit on a gurney in that hallway. Nursing care was pleasant and caring, although it was sometimes hard to contact a nurse because I only had a hotel-style bell in my bed to use to communicate - no intercom, light or other electronic means to contact hospital personnel. I was within several steps of a bathroom across the hall which I used periodically, after detaching my EKG, O2 monitor and blood pressure sleeve myself. I saw two doctors within my first hour, and did not see either of them again. I did have a follow-up with a nurse practitioner whose main role was to evaluate me for release.
Marie Braunsdorf: I had multiple testing which the medical center organized wonderfully. Every test and technician was performed with expertise and care. I would highly recommend OP Regional facility.
Stacey Platz: The nurses and nurse practitioner were fabulous. the tech who performed the first chest x-ray was surly. when he came to get me for the xray, i was sooooo tired. I said " i have to walk?" just in a kidding way. the nurse said "we can get you a wheel chair." the xray tech said grumpily "we don't have any wheel chairs." I replied i didn't need one. BUT what if i had fallen? You could have been sued. He should have offered one just to be safe.
Tai Anderson: Have a brain aneurysm and am at KU Med. Thankfully I survived being essentially forced out of ER by OPRMC after a couple hours with a diagnosis of a swollen knee. I told them to correct my paperwork but no. I cannot express how many times I tried explaining myself and what was going on. I insisted they gave me a referral to a vascular malformation specialist for fear of AVM rupture due to veins bulging and spasming and blood pooling and then being reabsorbed. All I heard from the nurse and NP was that my condition wasn’t possible, and the referral I saw TWO DAYS LATER said the same thing. I understand they were ignorant, but they refused to get the appropriate dr. or referral. The Dr they sent me to, was not only NOT a malformation specialist, he asked me to go on FB and ask my fellow KT people what to do and I had to beg him for a referral and he he laughed when I asked for a neurosurgeon. The neurologist he was willing to send me to, I haven’t heard from yet.I ended up taking myself to KU Med Friday night after this started Tuesday night. KU was willing to listen and treat me. They found a brain aneurysm. My mother worked at OPRMC for 25 years or so and I had two babies there. I don’t believe I will ever go back to their hospital and will encourage anyone with more than a broken bone to waste their time there. Beyond disappointing. Beyond disgusting how reckless they were in their ER. Don’t go. I had much higher expectations.
Mark Hellier: Great experience
Alex Rudacille: My experience was wonderful, all of the staff was incredibly sweet, made my very tired self feel like I was hilarious (though I know half of what I said made no sense) and even had the sweetest man explain what I would go through with anesthesia. He was wonderful and one of the biggest things I remember from my stay. He made me laugh, made me feel comfortable, and made me feel like I knew exactly what to expect when going under. He wasn’t my actual anesthesiologist as he had been there all night, but even though he was most likely incredibly tired, he still had wonderful energy. I even wondered for a moment if he was from pediatrics. When I woke up, the woman in the room with me was incredibly sweet and soft-spoken. It made me feel calm even though I had no idea what was going on and was upset because my mom wasn’t with me. Even so, I felt safe with the woman because of how sweet she was. Everyone there was incredibly kind and respectful and made my fear of hospitals dwindle slightly. If I have to choose a hospital to go to in the future, I will choose this one.
Jane Doerflinger: All good but parking is tough alot.
Teresa Heckenlively: The care I received was so appreciated. The entire staff was caring from check in to check out. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to care for my medical needs.
Beverly Rush: Wonderful experience with outpatient radiology. Understood my anxiety, compassionate care.
Alesia Mcanany: I went in for my routine mammogram. Everyone is super friendly from check-in to doing the actual services. Very friendly and make you feel comfortable.
Connie Cofer: I had excellent care from both shifts.
Dwain Bates: My night shift nurse Falicia stood out date was 6-4-2023 room 2020
Shelby Jackson: Always have had great experiences with OPR. Had surgery and they took great care of me and my family
Douglas McKinley: Cardiac Rehab is professionally managed and the nurses are excellent at helping make the exercise productive. More flexibility in hours would be appreciated.
Mel Lagarde: This is an outstanding hospital with outstanding people. Responsive and perfectly trained. I could not recommend a hospital more highly.
Kathy Oetting: On time for all appointments and very friendly staff.
Benita Brady: Very nice.
Amber Aunquoe: The day of my surgery and the evening shift along with the night shift was great. The nurses stayed on top of pain medicine to keep my pain level at a minimum. The next morning shift was terrible. At 6:00 am the nerve block was wearing off so I asked for my medication at 6:30 am and several times after. Finally at 9:00 am the nurse came in and gave me my nausea medication then proceeded to tell me that I could not have any pain medication because I took the nausea medicine. When asked why she said because the nausea medicine acts like a nerve blocker and pain reliever. I told her that I have always taken the same nausea medicine 10 minutes before any pain medicine, including the day and night before. After complaining to several staff members I finally got pain medicine at 9:50 am and by this point my pain level was a full 10. Not only that the room itself was filthy dirty. There was a strip of black on the floor along the baseboards. When I said something to housekeeping I was told it was stains and would not come off. I then got a wet washcloth and cleaned a portion of it showing that it in fact will come up. I have included pictures of the floors and walls in the room.
Demetria Hunter: Love this hospital it's the best delivered my baby here and me baby and dad was well taken care of he even got 2 free meal tickets while most other hospitals only give you one.
Esther Powers: My experience was extremely kind and compassionate care given by everyone on staff

Mike O'Connell: GREAT WAS IN AND OUT IN ABOUT 30 MIN.
MeeMee Heart: I come to the ER when I have issues with my hand or my arm. At least once a year I need a prednisone and inflammation injection. When I mention this to the dr. He was acting like he didn't want to listen to my advise. I could of been in and out in 45 min or less. But i was there 2 hrs. I know my body and know what works for me.
Pamela Berry: They got me back very quickly,my needs were handled without running a ton of unnecessary tests, seeing as I am uninsured.Staff was friendly and professional.
E ROBINSON: Love it every time thank you so much
Steven Lesan: Outstanding
Bernita Cauthon: From check-in to the completion of my mammogram everything at Research Medical Center Brookside Campus was excellent! I have been going here for 5 years and they are always prompt, professional, and sincere. Allison is a great radiologist and I appreciate her so much.
Katherine J. Camacho: great experience
A'ngel Davis: took my daughter this morning waited 2 hrs for the er doc to come in there just to do NOTHING i had to tell him to do a chest xray on her because i felt like it was more to it then what he was saying because she was there last week for the same thing and he got a attitude when the results came back and said take her to her pcp all we do here is put a baindade on things he was very rude his name is dr pattel i think i dont remember but i will never be bringing my kids or myself here again he needs to be fired because he has no bedside manners and dont even do his job as a er doctor
Anastasia King: Initially walking into the ER I didn't feel like the guy behind the desk cared that I was obviously in distress, and didn't offer up any help. However, the nurses who immediately took me back and started caring for me were amazing. Very attentive and quick with everything they were doing. The doctor was there quickly as well and was great at making sure my pain was being managed and I understood what was happening.
Shabaka King: The Nurses are so kind and sweet. And they have some of the best Doctors in the area. I’ve never had a bad experience. They are not just healthcare professionals, they’re passionate about helping individuals. Traveling above and beyond to help you be well.
Linda Ross: I had a great experience, They got me in quickly dr and every one was pleasant and helpful. I got the treatment I needed, and I was feeling much better.
Larenda Lee: Excellent experience, caring staff.
Dee Moore: Very professional and friendly.
F. Parks: Everything was very good, especially the x-ray technician whose name I did not catch but she was a beautiful young lady great personality friendly outgoing and professional I took my CT scan at the Brookside campus.
Brian McDonald: Fast and efficient.
Sharon Jackson: My visit was just as I anticipated, the staff was professional, efficient , sensitive and caring. I would not consider going anywhere else for a mammogram
Cheryl Mrayyan: Never touched me . Just asked how did I want to pay! I guess I paid for a 👞 and them to say 2 days off that I didn't ask for. I just wanted Medical help. Left praying to God for relief.
Tamela Ross: Customer service was excellent! The staff from start to finish was amazing!
Tempestt Hicks-Wolfe: quick easy and clean

TMC Lakewood Emergency Room: what do users think?
Danielle Wilson: I would just love give shout outs to this er!!! Starting from Mr. Wyatt who ckd me in and no disrespect at all I think her name wax Mrs. Sharon cutest hair cut ever that took my vitals to my nurses mrs. Lindsey and Trisha. Mrs. Barbara was touched my soul and Mr. William made me feel like everything would be alright. I felt like family and now I know I am thank you for the truly amazing experience god bless each and every one of you.
Zach Roberts: Presented to the ER because my foot hurtie wheel bad. They fixed me up grate and sent me on my way. Got a cool boot out of the whole ordeal too. Would give it 6 stars if I could have picked the color of the boot, but sometimes you win some and sometimes you lose em. Great nursing staff. Nurses be fire too. Damn son, they fine.
multi device: Would give zero Stars if I could. Possibly the worst emergency room I've ever been to. And I've worked in several. heart patient who recently had a heart attack comes in with chest pains and pain in their left shoulder and arm, they make them wait 4 hours to be seen when they are not busy. That's unexcusable. Contemplating making a complaint to the state. We finally gave up waiting and went up the road to st. Luke's, they were so concerned there they immediately too her back and they had a waiting room with people standing cause they were so busy.
Naav Evans: Refused to treat me because I don't have insurance.
Taylor Brasfield: Fiancé went here for pain and numbness in his left arm along with extreme chest tightness. He had been complaining for about a day. When we got to the ER they took him back and didn't do a single thing except test him for covid. The man at the front desk was extremely rude and short with us. It was a 20 minute visit and they wouldn't look for any other cause.
Ivan Sarraga Montanez: Best hospital I've been.
The Jackmans: Go anywhere else but here! Please save yourself and don’t go here. They gave us the wrong medicine that didn’t even go with what they thought we had, diagnosis was wrong, it ended up being something anyone could recognize but they missed it, never looked at the labs, left the room with trash all over. The Dr came in and said did you really think this is an emergency, why are you here. When in fact it was and it was life threatening and we had to go somewhere else. Save yourself and loved ones and don’t go here.
Derek Hardin: ited going on 6 hrs and still haven’t been seen, smh. I believe they’ve seen maybe 2-3 people since I’ve been here. Sad, I pray for them and all hospitals, we need to do better.🤦🏾‍♂️
mary Levingston: Called the number and it went to Walgreens...
Pam Morgan: Very quickly took care of my issue. Dr. Millard is good at what he does. Everyone there was fast, efficient, and treated me well
Tammy Wilson: Horrible ER. Nurse Chris But I know why know. I called his boss Eric to talk with. He very condescending too. It was shift change and it was Eric’s late Friday afternoon. He interrupted me. “With mam pls do not interrupt me” I was the calling him! I never finished what I needed to say! He said his normal everyday reason and apologized which you could tell in his tone he didn’t mean that at all. When he took a breath I said well ok then bye!
Maddie Cushman: Between lobby wait and room wait we spent 3 hrs. Nobody ever came to our room after several calls.. so eventually we just left. It was not busy! Assuming taking selfies behind there computer screens is more important! So sad.
Jonas Hoy: How do I sit in the ER for 3.5 hours and I just now received a call from finance saying she missed me??? For 3.5 hours and you missed me? If my license isn't proof enough I live where I live you need to not contact me again regarding getting a notarized letter saying I do. Drs were good, Finance needs to get it together.
Janet Franklin: They get you done
MCB: Been waiting 3 hours with the same people that were here when we got here. Don't see anyone getting any service.
Kristi Burkhart: I'd give them no stars if that was an option. Went in there about 6 weeks ago because my breathing had become difficult & I was weezing. I mentioned to 3 different doctors In the ER about having dizzy spells where I couldn't breathe well, I would start sweating profusely & my heart would start beating like I was running a marathon for about 10 minutes until I was exhausted. Once they found out I didn't have insurance they didn't even do labwork & had the nerve to tell me maybe I got a bad batch of drugs. Nice assumption. So they sent me on my merry way with a diagnosis of Acute Bronchitis. 2 weeks later I went to Truman Hospital Hill ER & told 1 doctor the same thing & they immediately admitted me & I was there for 4 nights & had several tests done on my heart with a diagnosis of my heart is working at 41%, my coronary arteries are 90% blocked, I have a coronary artery anuerism, i am part of the 1% population that has coronary artery anomaly & I am scheduled for Triple Bypass Surgery in 2 weeks, not to mention I was prescribed several heart medications to keep me alive until my surgery. WAY TO GO LAKEWOOD. THANKS FOR CARING IF I LIVED OR DIED BECAUSE IF I WOULDN'T HAVE LISTENED TO MY BODY & LISTENED TO YOU MY 13 YEAR OLD SON PROBABLY WOULDN'T HAVE A MOTHER MUCH LONGER .
